Despite all its endeavours, the European Central Bank (ECB) is still not managing to convince the markets. At least, that is what could be inferred by last week’s EUR/USD’s rebound towards 1.385 – despite repeated statements by ECB members, including President Mario Draghi, that quantitative easing will be implemented if the euro continues to appreciate.
