Pioneer investments appoints Anthony J Koenig, Jr.Senior

Pioneer Investments has named Anthony J. Koenig, Jr. (pictured) in the role of Senior Administrative Officer in the U.S. Investment Division. A Senior Vice President, Mr. Koenig previously served as Chief Financial Officer of the U.S. Division. As a member of global investment staff, he will support Kenneth J. Taubes, Head of Portfolio Management, U.S, and will coordinate/implement global investment projects.
Speaking about his move, Mr. Koenig said: “This new role is a tremendous opportunity for me to expand my experience in the industry by helping manage the operations of a large investment team.  I’m looking forward to working with Ken and portfolio managers at Pioneer as we develop new investment capabilities and continue the global integration of our investment teams in the U.S., Europe and Asia.”
Mr. Koenig’s responsibilities include playing a key role in coordinating the team structure of the U.S. portfolio management  group and supporting ongoing global investment integration. He will also be involved in establishing policies and procedures for the department. He represents the Head of Portfolio Management, U.S. on various committees, and manages a wide range of activities of the U.S. equity and fixed income portfolio management teams and trading. Mr. Koenig will work directly with the Global Investments Chief of Staff in Milan to coordinate and implement global investment projects and initiatives throughout the investment organization.
