Numerix (www.numerix.com), the leading provider of cross-asset analytics for derivatives valuations and risk management today announced that Dion Global Solutions (Dion) has joined the Numerix Partner Program to offer Numerix Powered ™ Analytics within its valuation and risk management solutions. This partnership enables the two companies to collaboratively bring new efficiencies to the OTC derivatives analytics market while meeting client demand for increased transparency, more accurate pricing and lower total cost of ownership.
Dion provides the international financial community with world-class systems and tools that operate across various domains including portfolio management, trading, settlement, risk management, compliance, analytics, messaging & workflow and research services and information products. Dion’s initial integration efforts have focused on enabling its newly announced OTC valuation and risk management tool, dfferentia, with Numerix market-tested pricing models and numerical methods. dfferentia also provides a trade API to populate Numerix Portfolio for middle office risk use.
“We’re excited to partner with Dion, an international market leader recognized for its domain knowledge and technology expertise,” said Steve O’Hanlon, President and COO of Numerix. “Dion’s conscious decision to leverage Numerix model libraries, rather than build their own, for pre-trade pricing, yield curves, payoff and horizon analysis extends the reach of Numerix analytics through a new and innovative web-based interface.”
“Powering our solution with Numerix revolutionizes the way in which traders, sales professionals, risk & IT managers price, structure and manage risk,” said Ralph Horne, Global CEO & Managing Director, Dion. “Numerix affords our hosted solutions access to the most comprehensive range of independent, industry standard models and methods, bringing enormous innovation and transparency to a fairly complex domain. As a result, we’re able to deliver a modern, intuitive user experience offering extensive risk measures that work on several browsers.”
